The Show features tributes to two of the music industry’s most loved and iconic acts Joe Cocker and The Blues Brothers.

The first half of the Show features a tribute to Joe Cocker and is performed by Marc Tribbia one of Australia’s finest Cocker impersonators. Marc has performed Joe Cocker all over Australia and is as close as you get to Cocker’s unique voice and stage antics. Playing all your favourite Joe Cocker hits including Leave your Hat On, The Letter, Feelin Alright, Delta Lady, Hitchcock Railway, You are So Beautiful.

The second half of the Show features The Oz Blues Brothers. You will be amazed as the show is fully scripted and choreographed, which will have the audience fully involved and dancing in the aisles. The Show over the last 10 years has performed and toured all over Australia in major clubs, theatres and internationally acclaimed through touring in Asia and the Pacific regions. The Show has had numerous high profile television appearances in Australia. Icehouse have sold more than 12 million albums, have had eight Top 10 albums and more than 30 Top 40 singles.

Icehouse was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006, being described as “… one of the most successful Australian bands of the 80s and 90s … With an uncompromising approach to music production, they created songs that ranged from pure pop escapism to edgy, lavish synthesized pieces.

“I’ve always enjoyed listening to the music of Icehouse.” said Eric Grothe. “Seeing them live, I gained a new appreciation for the music and was overwhelmed by the songs, sound and the energy of their show…I felt compelled to put together a tribute to the music of Iva Davies and Icehouse.

“Great Southern Land: The ICEHOUSE Tribute reproduces the energy and the unique sound of a live Icehouse performance, featuring all the iconic Icehouse hits in a 90-minute tribute that will delight any audience.

Fronting the six-piece band is international Rugby League legend Eric Grothe on guitar and lead vocals. Eric is joined by his ‘Gurus’ band members Patrick Hopkins (Drums & Vocals), Dave Cunningham (Bass & Vocals) & Ted Brennan (Lead Guitar & Vocals). Added to this experienced line-up are the multi-talented Andrew Dawson (Keyboards, Acoustic Guitar & Vocals) and Adam Van Eyke (Keyboards, Saxophone).
